Globally Mark Tasks as Complete, Failed, Incomplete, or Not Applicable

Users who are members of an access group with permission to act globally upon tasks will have access to an Action menu.

Take global action on tasks:

  1. Click the check box to the left of the task to be acted upon.

  2. Continue selecting tasks until you have selected all tasks you want to take action on.

    Note:

    Steps 1 and 2 are not necessary if you plan to act upon ALL records listed in the Task Check List, rather than selected tasks.

  3. Click the Action button.

    The Action menu opens.

  4. Choose one of the following options:

    • Complete Selected: Marks selected records for completion.

    • Complete All: Marks all records for completion.

    • N/A Selected: Marks selected records as not applicable.

    • N/A All: Marks all records as not applicable.

    • Fail Selected: Marks selected records as failed.

    • Fail All: Marks all records as failed.

    • Incomplete Selected: Marks selected records as incomplete (remove completed check).

    • Incomplete All: Marks all records as incomplete (remove completed check).

    • Close Menu: Exits the menu without making a selection.

    After making your selection, the Action menu will close and the changes will be reflected on the Task Check List.

  5. Click Save.
